Externships in Poland

How can I arrange an externship in Poland?

The more than 2000 alumni of the Catholic Law-Jagiellonian cooperative programs open doors for externships in top law firms in Kraków, Warsaw, and Wrocław, Poland. The program now has 20+ placement opportunities in firms including Pricewaterhouse Coopers Legal (PwC); Kubas, Kos, Gałkowski (KKG); Peak Legal; Olesiński i Wspólnicy; Gessel; Gostyński i Wspólnicy; B2RLaw; SSW Law & Beyond; Domanski Zakrewski Palinka (DZP); Court of Arbitration of the Polish Chamber of Commerce; and the Canpack Group in-house legal department.

Externships are offered for academic credit via the on-line courses: Becoming an International Lawyer and Legal Externship. Student externs acquire knowledge and skills as they work closely with lawyers in work comparable to that in international law firms around the world, while gaining knowledge of legal differences between the European Union and the United States and skills in navigating the legal system and cultural differences in cross-border work. Students report the externships provide insight that cannot be acquired in American classrooms.
