Phillip D. Brady is an Adjunct Professor at the Columbus School of Law of The Catholic University of America and serves on the Board of Visitors of the Law School.
Phil Brady retired as Senior Vice President, Government Affairs for Phillips 66 in 2015. Prior to joining Phillips 66, he served for 12 years as President of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and before that as the Vice President and General Counsel for the American Automobile Manufacturers Association, then the trade association for Chrysler, Ford and General Motors.
Earlier in his career, Phil served in the George H. W. Bush White House as Assistant to the President and Staff Secretary, and during the Reagan Administration, in the White House as Deputy Counsel to the President. Prior government service also included appointments as General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Transportation, and in the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Congress.
Phil graduated with honors from both University of Notre Dame and Loyola University School of Law. He was also awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws from Northwood University, and has served on the Board of Trustees since 2006.
