John Wilcox is an Assistant Counsel in the Office of the Legislative Counsel of the United States Senate. In that role he is responsible for drafting legislation on a nonpartisan basis for Senators and Senate committees. He drafts in a wide variety of areas, including labor and employment, pensions, and workforce training.
Prior to joining the Office of the Legislative Counsel, John clerked for Judge William F. Jung of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. John earned his J.D. from the University of Florida, where he served as Executive Symposium Editor of the Florida Law Review and was selected to join the Order of the Coif. He received his B.A. from the University of South Florida.
