On May 12, 2025, Professor Robert Destro participated in the Second Annual Pan-African Conference on Family Values, held in Nairobi, Kenya. As a speaker in the session titled Families Under Pressure: Rebuilding the Foundation of Society Through Dialogue, Law, and Community Resilience, Professor Destro contributed valuable insights to the discussion. He attended the event virtually.

Professor Robert DestroThe following day, on May 13, Professor Destro served as an instructor at the inaugural Law and Religion Course, hosted at the DoubleTree Hotel in Crystal City, Washington, DC. This event, organized by the Office of the Chief of Chaplains (OCCH) within the United States Army Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps, was designed for Division-level Chaplains, their Deputies, and Religious Affairs Specialists. Judge Advocate counterparts were also invited to participate. During the course, Professor Destro delivered a lecture on the Constitutional Origins of Religious Liberty, offering a deep dive into the legal and historical foundations of this cornerstone principle.
