Catholic Law alumnus Christopher Pilkerton '99 has been confirmed as the Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Treasury. In this role, he leads the inter-agency Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and the Outbound Investment Security Program. Pilkerton’s extensive career includes serving as Treasury General Counsel, Administrator and General Counsel at the U.S. Small Business Administration, and White House Senior Policy Advisor. He began his professional journey as an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan and later as Senior Enforcement Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, exemplifying a steadfast dedication to public service.
