On the evening of Friday, November 7, Catholic Law's Military and National Security Law Association (MNSLA) brought the community together for its successful Toast Our Troops event. The gathering featured a great lineup of faculty and staff guest bartenders, including Dean Stuart Schept, Professor Chris Ross, Dean Katie Crowley, Professor Lisa Everhart, Professor A.G. Harmon, Professor Mary Graw Leary, Dean Megan La Belle, and Professor Antonio Perez, who served drinks and fostered a lively atmosphere. MNSLA Co-presidents Rachael Phillips and Taylor Talley extended a warm welcome to all attendees, expressing gratitude for the community's participation and acknowledging the contributions of the guest bartenders.

The event also featured a poignant moment as Dean Stephen C. Payne delivered a heartfelt toast, reflecting on his own experiences in the ROTC at Cornell and his service in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. His remarks added a meaningful layer to the occasion, connecting the community with the spirit of military service. Rachael Phillips shared,"Toast our Troops is such a special event and MNSLA is so proud to host each year. Big thank you to our E-Board, professors, and Dean Payne. This event would not be successful without them!"

Demonstrating a strong commitment to giving back, all proceeds raised from the event were dedicated to supporting K9s for Warriors, an organization committed to providing service dogs to military veterans.
