Governor Wes Moore today announced the appointment of Evelyn Lombardo Cusson '09 to the Baltimore County Circuit Court, praising her as a "dedicated servant of the law" with a steadfast commitment to fairness and justice. Cusson, an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Maryland, has built a distinguished career prosecuting white-collar crimes and handling complex civil and criminal litigation. As the office’s elder justice coordinator, she has worked tirelessly to combat abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older adults. Her legal journey includes practicing at Gordon Feinblatt, LLC, and Anderson, Coe & King, LLP, clerking for the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia on Maryland’s highest court, and serving as president of the Baltimore City Bar Association. Governor Moore expressed confidence that Cusson’s extensive experience and dedication will greatly benefit the people of Baltimore County.
