A group of 1L students from Catholic Law visited the courtroom of The Honorable Rainey Brandt ’95, Associate Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, on Friday, October 10. Judge Brandt met with the students before court began, answering their questions about her Felony I docket, her path to becoming a judge, and the traits she values in a judicial law clerk. The students then spent the morning seated in the jury box, observing the docket unfold and experiencing the courtroom from a unique vantage point. For many, it was their first time in a courtroom, making the experience both educational and inspiring.
