Professor Lucia A. Silecchia, Associate Dean of Faculty Research, appeared as a guest on “All Who Labor,” a podcast produced by Fordham University’s Center for Religion and Culture, on April 25, 2023. In conversation with host Anna Norwalk, and with reference to her own 2022 article in the Jesuit magazine, America, Silecchia discussed the so-called Great Resignation of post-pandemic America, examining it in the context of the dignity of work and interpreting it through the lens of Pope Saint John Paul II’s encyclical Laborem Exercens.
