2023 Distinguished Alumni Award RecipientsThe Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law (Catholic Law) will honor five of its alumni on Saturday, October 14, 2023, during its Distinguished Alumni Awards and Class Dinner. The Law School will recognize these outstanding graduates by awarding them one of five accolades: the Distinguished Public Service Award, the Columbus School of Law Recent Alumni Award, the Distinguished Alumni Award, the William Callyhan Alumni Award, and the 2023 Distinguished International Alumni Award.

The Distinguished Public Service Award recognizes an alumnus or alumna who, in the course of his or her career, has performed outstanding public service. The 2023 recipient of the Distinguished Public Service Award is Jullian Brevard ’03.

The Distinguished Recent Alumni Award honors a graduate who completed studies at Catholic Law within the past fifteen years and has since shown a dedicated commitment to improving the legal profession through his or her intellect, integrity, leadership, and sense of responsibility. The 2023 recipient of the Distinguished Recent Alumni Award is Brendan Koeth ’13.

The Columbus School of Law Distinguished Alumni Award honors alumni who, since their graduation, not only have led an extraordinary career marked by a dedicated commitment to the betterment of the legal profession but also have remained loyal to Catholic Law through alumni involvement and philanthropic support. The 2023 recipient of the Columbus School of Law Distinguished Alumni Award is Christopher Christian ’98.

The William Callyhan Robinson Alumni Award, named after the first dean of the Catholic University of America Law School, celebrates an alumnus or alumna who graduated forty or more years ago and whose career since has demonstrated an integrity which honors Catholic Law and its community. The 2023 recipient of the William Callyhan Robinson Alumni Award is Nessa Feddis ’83.

Marking the twentieth anniversary of the LL.M. in American Law program which Catholic Law jointly operates in Krakow, Poland, alongside Jagiellonian University, Catholic Law created the 2023 Distinguished International Alumni Award to recognize a program alumnus for both outstanding professional accomplishments and service to Catholic Law and Jagiellonian University communities. The recipient of the 2023 Distinguished International Alumni Award is Wojciech Jarosinski ’10.
