Catholic Law alumna Elizabeth Leaming ’92 has been nominated by Governor Ned Lamont of Connecticut to serve as a judge on the Connecticut Superior Court. Leaming was one of 22 residents from across the state to be nominated by Governor Lamont and all of the nominations are now being forwarded to the Connecticut General Assembly for consideration. Gov. nominates Hebron women to be judges

Leaming is a graduate of Colgate University and obtained her juris doctorate degree from the Catholic University Columbus School of Law.

She is a supervisory assistant state’s attorney in the Windham County State Attorney’s Office, where she has been since 2019.

During her career, she has specialized in the prosecution of child abuse and sexual assault crimes.
