On Saturday, May 1, Catholic Law Professors Catherine Klein and Leah Wortham joined Czech, UK, and US clinical colleagues to present How Global Clinical Education Collaboration Can Benefit Our Students, Our Clients, and Ourselves at the American Association of Law School’s Clinical Conference. With this year’s virtual conference format, clinicians from Italy, Nigeria, Poland, South Africa, Spain, and Turkey joined US colleagues from around the country at the session. Klein and Wortham cited their start in cross-border work in working with teachers and students at Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland in establishing JU’s clinic in 1997. This clinical collaboration built on Catholic Law’s now 30-year collaboration with Jagiellonian includes the International Business and Trade Summer Law Program and American Law Program that have almost 2000 US and international alumni.
