The CUA Law School community took a pause in their day for a few minutes to share in the lighting of the Columbus School of Law's Christmas tree in the building's atrium on November 27.

Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Katie Crowley welcomed those in attendance and introduced Sr. Ruth Harkins to offer a prayer and blessing. After the blessing, CUA Law Dean Regina T. Jefferson offered brief remarks, urging students to take a breather from the work of Law School to reflect upon the blessings of love,

community, family, and friendship during the holiday season. After her remarks, Dean Jefferson lit the tree.

It will remain lit though the end of the academic semester. After the ceremony students were invited to a reception where they mingled with faculty and staff.
