International law firm, Jones Day, hosted the Columbus School of Law for its 12th annual joint-reception, An Evening With CUA Law on March 10. The reception brought together admitted students, current student leaders, faculty, staff, and alumni, providing admitted students an opportunity to learn more about the special community at CUA Law and others in attendance a chance to network and connect with each other in a professional setting.

Peter Garvin, III '78, host and partner at Jones Day, introduced CUA Law Dean Daniel F. Attridge who provided opening remarks. "Once you enroll in our school you really become apart of the CUA Law family where your fellow community members will care about you as a person," said Dean Attridge. "On day one as a student, your personalized legal education will begin. You will get to know your fellow students in a deep and meaningful way, as colleagues along the same path."

Chima Okoli, 2L also spoke about his CUA Law experiences and remarked on the uniqueness of the CUA Law community. "From the very first day the professors genuinely want to see you succeed," said Okoli.

Jones Day has served as host to CUA Law's annual admitted student reception since 2005.
