Issues arising from corporate responsibility and legal compliance appear in the news media on a regular basis, and they are increasingly important both for society and for companies facing fundamental governance challenges and the risk of exposure to devastating financial loss. Lawyers who practice in this area play a vital role in advising complex organizations how to identify, assess and manage the risks of potential violations of applicable laws and regulations, foster compliance with organizational policies, promote best practices, and meet the expectations of their key stakeholders. Our Corporate Responsibility and Compliance (CRC) program offers students the opportunity to learn the skills that will enable them to succeed in this growing field in a variety of settings including government agencies, businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and advocacy groups as well as law firms. CRC students have the opportunity to learn from instructors “on the front lines” and interact with Catholic Law alumni who serve as general counsel, chief compliance officers, prosecutors, regulatory counsel, and policy advisers. We hope that you will join our active community!
