-Welcome to CUA-LAW Financial Aid-
The Financial Aid Staff at The Columbus School of Law is committed to providing you with quality of customer service. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions, comments, and/or concerns. All the information you may need to complete the financial aid processs can be found on our webpages. However, you are always welcome to drop in, call, or make an appointment with a member of the staff.
At the top of this page you will see information broken down into broad categories: Types of Aid, Cost of Attendance, Apply for Aid, Money Matters, etc. Before you begin perusing these pages, here are a few introductory words.Financial Assistance at the Columbus School of Law consists of two parts: an institutional scholarship program based on academic performance and Federal Student loans based on need (as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA).
Materials submitted to the Admissions office during the application process automatically qualify you for participation in the scholarship program. No separate applications are needed for scholarship consideration.
Please note that financial assistance for most law schools is heavily loan based. Borrowing should be done cautiously, but should also be considered an investment in yourself and your future. We believe this is an investment to be well worth the cost. Additionally, several Federal programs have been created in recent years to defer this cost. We are available to discuss these programs along with loan repayment, deferment, and cancellation.
Best wishes as you pursue your degree at the Columbus School of Law.
