Financial Aid

Welcome to CUA Law Financial Aid

Whether you are a prospective student, a current student, or a graduate of CUA, we in the Financial Aid office are committed to providing you with friendly, comprehensive, and high quality customer service.

Columbus School of Law offers grants and scholarships based on academic performance and other information provided on your  application for admission. No separate application is needed.

Loan resources are available through federal student loan programs to meet costs for tuition, fees, and living expenses.

Grants and scholarships are always preferable to loans when financing your education. Many law students also will rely on student loans as a resource.  Borrowing, done cautiously, is an investment in yourself and your future.

Of course, with borrowing, there is the responsibility to repay. Pay As You Earn is a loan repayment program in which your monthly payments are proportionate to your income, with the option of loan forgiveness after 20 years of repayment, (or 10 years if employed full-time in public service).  Other “level-pay” options ranging up to 25 years are also available.  Use the PAYE and After Graduation links on this page to learn more.

All the information you need to complete the financial aid process can be found on our webpages. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions, comments, and/or concerns. You are always welcome to drop in, call, or make an appointment with a member of the staff.

We wish you the very best as you pursue your degree at the Columbus School of Law

Sincerely,
David Schrock
