Dean Daniel F. Attridge
A letter from Dean Daniel F. Attridge:

Dear CUA Law Alumni, Family, and Friends,

We are now halfway through the schedule of classes in our spring semester.   Working our way through the winter season, our students, faculty, and staff have been engaged in many activities during the past month.  This is a brief report on what’s been happening and what’s coming up:

1.  Search Committee for New Law School Dean.  As announced last month, I intend to resign as dean of the Law School as of July 31, 2018, after having the privilege of serving for five and half years, nearly twice the average three-year tenure of current law school deans.

CUA Law Ranked #18 for Government Jobs by PreLaw Magazine

The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law was ranked #18 in the country for government jobs by PreLaw magazine's winter 2018 issue (vol. 21, no. 3).

The ranking is based on the law school's curriculum, if the school was established to to train lawyers to serve human needs, if students are challenged to look at law through the eyes of the vulnerable, the marginalized, the minorities and the oppressed, the presence of a clinic which allows students to hit the ground running after graduation, and public interest scholarship opportunities.

Finally, Mulhall spoke about his experience in America and the amazing strength and diversity of the Irish American community.
