CUA Law E-newsletter - December 2014
Dean Designate Daniel F. Attridge
A letter from Dean Daniel F. Attridge:

Dear CUA Law Alumni, Family, and Friends,

Our fall 2014 semester has reached a successful conclusion. Our students have taken their final exams and turned in their final papers.  Our faculty members are busy grading all of this work, while preparing for the next semester.  We are all ready to enjoy the Christmas holiday break.  Our new spring 2015 semester will begin on January 8.  This is a brief report on what’s been happening and what’s coming up:

1.  Christmas.  On behalf of all of us at CUA Law, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.  Or, if you do not celebrate Christmas, we wish you all the best in commemorating your own faith or other traditions at this time of year.  We hope you enjoy celebrating this holiday season with your family and friends.  At the Law School, we are grateful for all of our successes during the course of this year.         Read more here

Calendar Year-End Giving

In this season of giving and goodwill, we hope you will consider a gift to the Annual Fund to make a difference in the lives of our deserving students at CUA Law. Your year-end support is especially critical to helping CUA Law open doors for a quality legal education. As 2014 comes to an end, and a new year with new opportunities unfolds, there are several options to make a year-end investment in the Law School in the most tax-wise and effective manner.

Your gift at this time will also provide support for scholarships, our clinics, as well as our outstanding programs throughout the Law School. To find out how you can make your gift today please click here.

Please note that CUA Law School offices are closed from December 19 through January 4. During this time we encourage you to make your gift online using our secure credit card system. For more information, please contact Lauren Enlow in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at 202-319-4638.

Don’t Forget:  It’s not too late to make a 2014 Charitable IRA Rollover Gift!  For further information, contact Tanya Easton at or 202-319-4697.
