1) Download the printer install script 

2) Double click on the script 

3) Run the script, press the PLAY button (triangle across top bar)

4) Enter your LAPTOP password at the prompt

NOTE: Printer script will not work with iPads or iPhones.

This only works for Apple laptops.

 

 

 

Download printer install script

Run script

At the screen below, select "Add a printer using a TCP\IP address"

 

 

At this screen change the dropdown to TCP/IP Device

 

 

At next screen below type in  10.8.3.225  in the "Hostname or IP" box,  click NEXT
Windows 11: make sure you set "Device Type:" to TCP/IP 

 

 

At the DRIVER screen click WINDOWS UPDATE

 

It may take a bit for Windows Update to complete, 3 - 6 minutes.

Click on HP under Manufacturer, and scroll down to HP Universal Printing of the right, then Next.

 

At the "Printer Name" screen (below)  type in "2nd floor Library",  click NEXT

 

At the "Printer Sharing" screen (below)  select "Do not share" click NEXT

 

At the Success screen click on Finish.

 

 

 

Now the process will be begin again to add the 4th floor printer

IP address:    10.8.3.216        Name:   4th floor library

Q: Is there a charge for printing?

The Library does not charge for printing.

 

Q: Is there color printing?

No, not in the Law Library.    The Pryz student center does color & banner printing for a fee.

 

Q: Are there scanners in the library?

Yes, the Ricoh copiers on 2nd and 4th floors of the library can scan, you need an USB drive or you can email to your CUA email address
(non CUA email accounts will not work)

 

Q: Can I connect my phone to CUA-Secure wifi?

Yes, you will need your CUA username & password.
