The fall 2014 edition of the Washington Post’s Guide to Graduate Education features a short description of the new Master of Legal Studies degree program offered by the Columbus School of Law, which enrolled its first five students this semester.
The article, titled “Master of Legal Studies offers options for non-lawyer legal professionals” (page 10) quotes CUA Law Professor Megan La Belle, co-director of the M.L.S. program at the law school.
La Belle describes the 26-credit M.L.S. option as ideal for professionals “who need to know the law, but don’t want to practice the law.”
