Commlaw Conspectus: Journal of Communications Law and Policy Law
Commlaw Conspectus Conspectus is a student-edited, scholarly law journal devoted to communications law and policy issues. The two-issue volume, published in the late spring/early summer, contains lead articles written by professionals in the communications law industry and student comments. The content includes a book review, bibliography of current communications law treatises, and digests of major FCC actions and court decisions involving communications law issues. The Conspectus serves the communications law community by presenting major developments that occur in the publication year in the areas of cable television, broadcasting, international communications, private radio, telecommunications, First Amendment law, copyright, and antitrust.
Students attain membership on the Conspectus staff by demonstrating superior writing skills in the closed-packet writing competition held each year. The comment satisfies the graduation writing requirement, and several are selected for publication.
