CUA Law E-newsletter - December 2015

Dean Daniel F. Attridge
A letter from Dean Daniel F. Attridge:

Dear CUA Law Alumni, Family, and Friends,

Our busy fall semester is quickly coming to a close.  Our classes end on December 4, just after the Thanksgiving break, and then we head right into final exams concluding on December 18.  This is a brief report on what’s been happening and what’s coming up:

1.  Thanksgiving.  On behalf of all of us at CUA Law, we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.  We hope you have an opportunity to celebrate this wonderful national holiday with your family and friends.  At the Law School, we all have much for which to be grateful.  Ours is a strong community of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends who are dedicated to each other and to helping others.  We are thankful for the love of our family and friends, for our health and prosperity, and for the promise of the future. To view a special video message of thanks commemorating Pope Francis’ historic visit to our campus, please click here

Year-End Giving

In this season of giving and goodwill, we hope you will consider a gift to the Annual Fund to make a difference in the lives of our deserving students at CUA Law. Your year-end support is especially critical to helping CUA Law open doors for a quality legal education. As 2015 comes to an end, and a new year with new opportunities unfolds, there are several options to make a year-end investment in the Law School in the most tax-wise and effective manner.

Your gift at this time will also provide support for scholarships, our clinics, as well as our outstanding programs throughout the Law School. To find out how you can make your gift today please click here.

Please note that CUA Law School offices are closed from December 23 through January 3. During this time we encourage you to make your gift online using our secure credit card system.

Don’t Forget:  It’s not too late to make a 2015 Charitable IRA Rollover Gift!  For further information, contact Katie Crowley in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at crowleykm@law.edu or (202) 319-5010.
