Interschool Competitions: National Security Law Moot Court Competition

The National Security Law Moot Court Competition is an interscholastic competition hosted in February by the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. Contestants write appellate briefs and then present their oral arguments in teams of two before a distinguished panel of recognized experts in the field. Judges on the final panel have included federal appeals court and district court judges, former directors of the CIA and FBI, a former Solicitor General of the United States, and a former Acting Attorney General of the United States. National security issues can include a broad range of constitutional law and international law, making this competition attractive for legal scholars from many fields."
