** The Law Library closes promptly at 11:45 pm. Library staff begin clearing the library at 11:30 pm.

*The Law Library is restricted to CUA Law Students ONLY during the reading and examination period. Students must show a CUA I.D. to the Door Guard upon entering the library.

Full access to the library is available to CUA law school faculty, students, staff and alumni.
Limited access to the library is available to these patrons:
- Bar members (non-alumni)
- Law students from other schools
- CUA faculty/staff (non-law)
- CUA students (non-law) with a need to use the library collection for research
- Any patron with a need to use the library's U.S. Government Depository collection
- Any patron with a need to use the library's collection for legal research
The law library is available to non-law school students for legal research only, not as a place to study. During spring and fall examination periods, use of the library is restricted to CUA law students.
For security purposes, access to the law ibrary is controlled all hours the the library is open. The doors to the library are locked. CUA Law faculty, students, and staff must use their CUA I.D.s to open the library doors.
Visitors
Visitors who wish to use the library must use the intercom to request admittance. A door guard is on duty seven days a week. During the hours the door guard is on duty, visitors must present a current photo I.D. that includes a street address in order to use the library. The door guard will register the name and address of all visitors to the library. Please see the Visitor Guidelines for more information.
