The DuFour Law Library employs CUA undergraduate and graduate students for a variety of positions. To inquire about possible openings in a specific department, contact the individual(s) listed below.
- Circulation Desk Attendant
Only current CUA Law students are eligible to work at the circulation desk. Previous customer service experience is helpful but not necessary. First Year students are welcome to apply.
Position description: attends to the Circulation Desk, assists patrons in obtaining reserve materials, uses the circulation system to charge out materials to patrons. Answers simple directional questions (no reference assistance). Services printers and photocopiers when needed. Sets up and breaks down various types of media equipment. Responsible for opening the library and closing the library. Desk attendants are required to work during exam periods. Studying is permitted when no other assignments are pending. Rate is $8.50 per hour.
- Regular semester hours (fall and spring semesters): Mon - Fri: 6:45am-10am, Noon - 5pm, 5pm-midnight; Sat & Sun: 9am-5pm & 5pm-midnight
- Summer hours: Mon - Thurs: noon - 5pm & 5pm-11pm; Friday: noon - 8pm; Saturday, 9am-5pm; Sunday, noon-8pm
