Sponsoring Law Schools
The Catholic University of America (CUA) was established in 1889 by the Catholic Bishops of the United States with the approval of Pope Leo XIII. CUA Law School is only a short METRO ride from the city center, the U.S. Capitol, the White House, the U.S. Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, and the many executive and administrative agencies of the U.S. government. Washington and the surrounding areas in Maryland and Virginia are also home to many prominent law firms, trade and professional associations, internationally renowned "think tanks," and non-governmental organizations.
Krakow, recognized as Poland's academic capital, is known for its friendly atmosphere for students. Over 150,000 Polish and foreign students study in Krakow each year.
