Michelle Borda joined the law school as Assistant Dean for Administration in August 2013. She works closely with the Dean’s office in handling a wide range of administrative and budget matters for the law school.
Previously, Borda served for 20 years as the manager of secretarial services at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Washington, D.C., where she managed and directed more than 70 secretaries and implemented a wide range of improved workflow systems and streamlined internal controls for legal staff and visitors.
Borda is also the founder of GETS Financial, a tax preparation business that she has managed for over 25 years. She is a Registered Tax Return Preparer with the Internal Revenue Service, which permits representation of clients to the IRS. Borda has a B.A. degree in Foreign Languages from the University of Maryland and a M.A. degree in Communication from Trinity University.
