The Catholic University of America

APPLICATION

Students are strongly encouraged to apply to the Institute concurrently with their application to the law school, as the class may fill before the beginning of the academic year. Evening students are also encouraged to apply. Each application is reviewed by the director of the Institute and admission to the Institute is made on a rolling basis. Applicants are notified of their status by mail.

The Institute's policy is to provide a quality educational experience for each student. This can be achieved best by limiting enrollment to ensure small classes and a favorable student-instructor ratio. Therefore, the Institute accepts no more than 25 students each year. In the event that space remains open in a class at the beginning of the academic year, students may apply to the Institute during their first year.

A link to the application for admission to the Institute for Communications Law Studies is provided on the top of this page. An application may also be obtained by contacting the Office of Institutes and Special Programs at Institutes@law.edu or by phone at 202-319-6081.

There are no additional fees associated with applying to or participating in the Institute for Communications Law Studies.
