How to Visit the Columbus School of Law

There are many opportunities to visit our community at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law (CUA Law). We welcome you to select the most convenient and attractive means for you. Each of these opportunities will enable you to meet current students and faculty and to witness the dynamic within the Law School. We encourage you to assess your comfort level during your visit and to ask questions. The investment in a law school education is a significant one. We hope to be of assistance as you make your final decision.

Daily Tours

Our Spring Semester began on January 11, 2016. With the exceptions of MLK Day and our week-long Spring Break (February 29 to March 6) and our recognition of the Easter holiday (March 24 through March 28), we will offer tours of the law school as well as opportunities to sit in on a class Monday through Friday. Led by current CUA Law students, these 30–45 minute tours will enable you to view classrooms, our library, the student café, the Slowinski Courtroom, and the hub of student activity — our three-story tall atrium.

Tours during the summer months are by appointment only. Please call our main admissions line at (202) 319-5151 or e-mail us at admissions@law.edu to arrange for your tour date and time. In order to best assist you, please provide us with at least 24 hours notice to schedule your visit.

Full Scholarships Available to CUA Law

Merit-Based Scholarships are awarded at the time of admission for both first-year and transfer students. Please note that there are Full Scholarships, as well as Partial Scholarships available. Scholarships are awarded by the Admissions Office and decisions are based on a review of the applicant’s entire application file. LSAT scores and prior Grade Point Averages are an important, but not exclusive component in the awarding process. No separate “aid application” is required for consideration for merit-based scholarships.
