Home state: Texas

Under graduate institution: University of Alabama

Legal Interest:

  • criminal prosecution (specifically, crimes against children)

My favorite thing about CUA:

never having to worry that someone won't be there for you. No matter what the problem there is always a classmate, professor, or other administrative position there to help you out.

Why I chose CUA:

I chose CUA because I had been attending large schools all of my life. I was ready for a little bit of a change. I can't say what it was, but when I came to visit CUA there was just something about it that drew me in (probably the beautiful campus and the smaller/more beneficial classes). That feeling has never really left, I have no doubt in my mind that this was the right decision for me.

What do you plan on doing after you graduate:

After graduation I plan to stay in the area and work with in a State's Attorney's office or clerk for a judge.

What do you most enjoy about studying law in Washington, D.C.:

The opportunities are endless. There is always an internship in a new field to explore - and if you are interested in politics or government work at all, you're in the right place.
