The Office of Academic Affairs manages the law school academic program. We handle scheduling of courses, assignment of faculty advisors, group and individual academic advising, course evaluations, academic assistance through the Academic Excellence Program, exam scheduling, bar exam advising, bar exam certifications, and all questions regarding the academic program. All of us look forward to working with each student to enhance the academic experience in the law school.


Associate Dean Marin R. Scordato
(scordato@law.edu) supervises all aspects of the academic program.


Assistant Dean Maura DeMouy (demouy@law.edu) advises and supports all law students in their personal, academic and institutional activities including Orientation, the Academic Excellence Program and programs and events relating to leadership, professionalism, ethics, health and well-being. She also provides academic advising, coordinates appropriate classroom and testing accommodations, meets one-on-one with students for bar exam audits, provides bar preparation advising and guides the Bar Exam Certification process.


Assistant Dean Stuart Schept
 (schept@law.edu) is the Dean for Academic Services, and Registrar . He handles course scheduling, exam scheduling and course evaluations and is the primary contact for letter of attendance related requests. He also provides individual and group advising on academic scheduling, graduation requirements, division transfers, transfer credit, and other academic issues.
