Caprice L. Roberts
Caprice L. Roberts will be a visiting faculty member for 2009-2010. She will teach Contracts in the fall and Contracts and Remedies in the spring. Professor Roberts is the associate dean of faculty research and development and professor of law at the West Virginia University College of Law, where she has taught Contracts, Federal Courts, Remedies, Judicial Power and Restraint Seminar and Postmodern Jurisprudence. She has also taught at Washington & Lee University School of Law, and University of North Carolina School of Law. Professor Roberts was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where she conducted internal investigations involving the FBI, DOJ, and SEC. She is a former clerk to the Hon. Ronald Lee Gilman of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Professor Roberts served as an editor of the Washington & Lee Law Review. She earned her J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law and B.A. from Rhodes College.
