Office of Career and Professional Development
The Columbus School of Law's Office of Career and Professional Development is dedicated to assisting students secure employment not solely after graduation, but for the rest of their lives. This commitment to life long service stems from the belief that career management extends far beyond graduation. Staffed by career planning professionals with advanced degrees in law, the office provides individual and group counseling, workshops, panels, instructional materials and job listings as well as activities that facilitate direct contact with prospective employers.

Alumni
The Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD) uses the Symplicity system, a new career services management and development software for posting jobs online and managing on-campus and off-campus interview programs. All alumna are invited to use Symplicity.
Alumni users must obtain a Symplicity Username and Password from OCPD in order to access the database. Alumni users should send an email request to jobs@law.edu. Your name and year of graduation must be provided and will be verified before you will be registered. You will receive an email from Symplicity asking you to click a link to set your password. Sharing your username and password with unauthorized users will result in the loss of database privileges.
All of the information you need to apply to a position via Symplicity should be provided on the various Job Posting listings. If you have questions, please contact our office at the (202) 319-5132 or e-mail us at jobs@law.edu.
