The mission of the Academic Excellence Program is to encourage academic excellence in all law students. The program’s objective is to promote student success through goal oriented programs, such as first year orientation programs, academic success workshops, and individual counseling.
During orientation, the Academic Excellence Program prepares first year students for the rigors of law school. The orientation programs focus on study skills and strategies for law school success. Students gain a better understanding of the demands of law school and specific study strategies to enable them to maximize their academic potential.
The Fall Semester Integration Program folds academic skills into our doctrinal classes. Our program bolsters students' outlining and test taking skills through the use of coordinated practice questions and practice exams in a first year course.
The program is inclusive and open to all Catholic law students to improve their academic performance.
