Catholic University law school Professor Suzette Malveaux is among fifty legal educators named to “The 50 Under 50 List” compiled by Lawyers of Color magazine in its first Law School Diversity Special Issue.

The article is subtitled “The Most Influential Minority Law Professors 50 Years of Age or Younger.” According to publisher Yolanda Young, “Our editorial team spent months researching prospective candidates. The selection committee read trade publications, blog, and critical reviews. The committee considered a candidates influence and relevance both within and beyond the academy.”

The magazine created the list “to recognize law professors who are making bold contributions to the legal cannon and the community at large.”

Published in May, the issue also includes the Minority Faculty Directory, which lists the name and racial/ethnic heritage for each minority law professor at 200 law schools.
