The weather outside was frightful, at least earlier in the day. But neither snow, sleet, nor the shutdown of the federal government kept hundreds of CUA Law alumni from turning out in force for the Law School's 31st Alumni and Friends Christmas Party, held 6:30-8:30 on Dec. 10 in the Columbus Club Room of Washington, D.C.'s Union Station (top).
A wide range of class years were represented as graduates returned to mingle, catch up with classmates and share high holiday spirits. Attendees lifted glasses, greeted former professors, and took advantage of the opportunity to get brought up to speed on the state of the Law School as summarized in brief remarks by Dean Daniel Attridge.
The annual Christmas party is intended primarily as a social occasion, but it also provides an opportunity for recent graduates who may still be searching for the right position to connect with other members of the extensive CUA Law alumni network in the greater D.C. area and learn about potential openings.
